Multinational Russia Day will be held on June 8 in the Upper Town and on the big stage near the Palace of Sports. TUT.BY was told about this in the embassy of the Russian Federation in Belarus.

Gala concert at the Palace of Sports. Who will perform there?

On the big stage near the Palace of Sports on Pobediteley Avenue on Saturday, June 8, they promise a grand gala concert dedicated to the Day of Russia.

The concert will begin at 14.00 and will last until 22.00, it will be free to listen to famous performers from different regions of Russia.

The “Turkish Choir” will perform, whose artists sing in more than ten languages ​​of the world in all musical genres. People's Artist of Russia Larisa Dolina will sing for Minsk dwellers. The orchestra will come from Moscow under the direction of the national artist Igor Butman, who will perform religious jazz standards.

The choreographic bloc will be presented by the leading collectives of the country, laureates of international competitions: the State Academic Honored Dance Ensemble "Lezginka" from the Republic of Dagestan, the Folk Dance Ensemble named after F. Gaskarov from the Republic of Bashkortostan, the Song and Dance Ensemble of the North-Western Military District from the Leningrad Region and the Academic Dance Ensemble "Caprice" from the Kaluga region.

The inhabitants of Belarus will be introduced to the choral traditions of Russian culture by the State Volga Russian Folk Choir. PM Miloslavova and the Ryazan State Choir. E. G. Popova.

A special program for children was prepared by artists of the children's vocal group "Street Magic" and the ensemble "Rainbow".

What will happen in the Upper Town?

The holiday in the Upper Town will take place from 12.00 to 16.00. There will be more than 20 thematic interactive areas, including a playground, “Fairy Russia”, “Sports ground”, “City of masters”, “Welcome!”, “Field kitchen”, “Exhibition of the Russian automotive industry”, “Summer cinema” ”,“ Oh, let's ride! ”,“ Studio of historical dance ”,“ Culture of Russia ”,“ Tourist Russia ”and“ Beauty of Russia ”, at which site at 14.00 they will play the prize for the best costume in the colors of the national flag of Russia.

Demonstration competitions and master classes of federations of skateboarding and workout, arm wrestling will be organized on the sports ground. All comers will be able to take part in the “Merry Start”, sports and games, the winners of which will be awarded with memorable prizes and souvenirs.

The "Russian", "Volga" and "North Caucasian" courtyards will be opened. The guests of the holiday will have the opportunity to visit the “Russia Marine” museum on wheels.

In the Upper City they will hold master classes in crafts: ceramics, pottery, knitting, artistic treatment of birch bark, forging, and weaving belts on planks, embroidery, weaving from straw and wicker.

It will be possible to attend exhibitions of traditional folk culture and national costumes from representatives of the Tatar-Bashkir, Chuvash, Russian and Dagestan diasporas.

The photozone will work. Also at the festival will treat soldiers buckwheat cereal and tea. In the tent "Welcome!" You can taste the cool kvass from Russia and eat pies and gingerbread.

On the Zybitskaya, the youngest guests of the holiday will be able to ride ponies and horses, and for their parents – on Night Wolves motorcycles.

In addition, the sites of the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo, the House of Moscow in Minsk, the site of branches of Russian universities in Belarus, and the Belarusian-Russian University will work.

Singers, dancers and musicians will perform on the stage in the Upper Town, including the choir of the Russian song named after A. Nikitina, the dance group “Legends of the Caucasus”, the folklore Tatar-Bashkir ensemble “Leysyan”, the Chuvash vocal-instrumental ensemble “Hamar-Yal” a lot others.

At 21.30 in the courtyard of the hotel "Monastyrsky" will show the famous Russian film. What exactly – such information in the program yet.
